For traffic safety

In cooperation with partners, 44 speed signs, 24 COPS@road collision prevention systems and 12 COPS@railwarning systems were set up at dangerous road sections in four years. Workshops, training courses and many other activities to improve road safety have been carried out for many years.

For those affected by major CAT events

To accommodate policyholders’ needs, mobile appraisal units are quickly set up in the areas affected by major CAT events. In June 2018, a mobile appraisal unit was set up immediately after the storm in Črnomelj, when eight of the Company’s appraisers cancelled their vacation to provide much needed help as soon as possible.

For preventing breast cancer and helping cancer patients

Support is provided to Europa Donna Slovenia, part of the Europa Donna – European Breast Cancer Coalition. Assistance was provided in the preparation of awareness-raising video content for breast cancer prevention. Furthermore, support is provided for psychological help offered to cancer patients.

For Paralympic athletes

Since 2015, Zavarovalnica Triglav has been the general sponsor of the Paralympic Committee of the Sports Federation for the Disabled of Slovenia. It participates in the organisation of the Paralympic Winter Sports Days in numerous elementary schools across Slovenia.

Croatia

For people with developmental disabilities

Support was provided to the Association for Helping People with Developmental Disabilities by helping them raise funds to help the Association to carry out its day-to-day activities.

For the Archaeological Museum in Zagreb

The Museum Fund of the Archaeological Museum in Zagreb comprises more than 450,000 different historical objects. Its work also includes own excavations and preservation of found objects. Its activities have been supported for many years.

Serbia

For recreational basketball players

The goal of supporting prevention programmes for recreational athletes is to improve their awareness about the risks of injuries to which they are most exposed. The focus is on recreational basketball players.

For children and young people with developmental disabilities

Funds were raised for the Centre for Children and Adolescents with Development Disabilities by selling handicrafts, especially Christmas and New Year's ornaments, in the company’s premises in Belgrade. The funds from the sale were used for the purchase of teaching and educational materials.

Bosnia and Herzegovina

For children with Down syndrome

Celebrating the 10-year anniversary in Banja Luka, a donation was made to the "Down sy i mi” Association, which helps children with Down syndrome. The Association used the funds for the participation of its members in the para-equestrian championship in the Republic of Srpska.

For elementary schools in Sarajevo

Financial support was provided to two elementary schools in Sarajevo – Mehmedalija Mak Dizdar and Hrasno. Funds were used for the purchase of the necessary educational aids.

Montenegro

For preventing breast cancer

Support was provided to the national breast cancer campaign “For Her”. In the context of the traditional Health Caravan, three Montenegrin towns (Nikšić, Tivat and Podgorica) were visited and 500 free breast exams were provided.

For schools in Podgorica

Support was provided to three schools in Podgorica – the elementary schools Sutjeska and Vlado Milić and the secondary school of economics and hospitality. The schools needed the funds for the purchase of the necessary educational aids.

North Macedonia

For children with special needs

Support was provided to the organisation SOS detsko selo (SOS Children's Village), which takes care of the children and families in need. The funds were used to finance the training of teachers and therapists for children with special needs.

For the Macedonian Philharmonic Orchestra

Since its foundation in 1944, the Macedonian Philharmonic Orchestra has participated in over 1,500 international music projects. We supported its activities.
